Census Wazi — Raw Data API

Each municipality's data is a single file you can open or download. For example, here is Makhado: LIM344.json. You can open any file's link in your browser to view or save the numbers, or feed it into a spreadsheet or data tool — the files use JSON, a standard format most software can read. • Counts are raw & disaggregated — there are no totals. Sum the leaves yourself.
• Units are residents everywhere, except Early Childhood Development = children aged 0–4.
• Values are full-precision weighted estimates (e.g. 6363.0092). Round at display time.
• Only population spans all four censuses (1996–2022); every other section is 2022 only.
• Sections have different universes — they do not sum to the total population.
